Once upon a time, there is this bungalow hotel. Can fit in as many people as you want. Can invite whoever you want. Good people, bad people, you name it. Got free food free drinks free meals. Eat all you can eat all you want. Any meals you name it. It is all in, all well included besides the accommodation.
The CEO doesn't care at all. He doesn't run or bothers the hotel business. He is inconsiderate about his employees. He does not put in count the consequences of all. He does not even know what his employee is dealing with. He does not even know what does the hotel has or has not. In short, he does not even know the situation of the hotel or the employees situations because he does not care at all.
However, he is very considerate towards his customers. He has high customer relationship management. He often places his customers as king. No matter how the customers treated him, whether he is known about it or not, he still place them as number one. Whatever wants or needs the customer places, he will try to fulfill them. Bad customers good customers, still are kings.
Thankfully, this CEO is sometimes generous to his employees. He increases bonuses for his employees by having yearly trips.
This CEO may only be around at his hotel for 3-4 days without communication with his employees; however he does organize overseas trips to maintain his relationship with his employees. Whether they communicate throughout the trip, that is another question.
Perhaps, because of this, the CEO managed to maintain his relationship with his employees. Because other than the 10-14 days trip, he seldom or close-to-does-not communicate with his employee.
This is because he is either too busy with his tv programmes, his outings or his sleep. Too busy to even have meals with his employees on normal days. Too busy with so many other things rather than his hotel and his employee.
Sad enough, the manager of the hotel have to raise everything , one handed without anyone to rely on. The manager does not tell her employees what she is dealing with; rather to put on a smile, pretend that everything is fine with the hotel; no matter in what situation the hotel is facing. Whether rain or shine, thunderstorm or flood; he still upholds it well like nothing ever happened.
The best and the worst part is that she is very loyal to the hotel. Wayyy too loyal and truthful to the hotel.
She could be better off in other industries besides this hotel line, she could earn better incomes besides this hotel line; however, she still stays loyal to it all.
She could have happier life without this stressful and saddening work in hotel, yet, she still stand firm on her feet with this hotel.
Her good examples will be known to her employees, in time.
She may be a good example to her employees, but she may not be able to capture the employees to do or to feel the same.
Because, employees do leave for the better deals or pays from the other competitors.
It is a natural cycle. Human nature.
